Dec 19     Bill Boner and Velmore Spencer helped us finish husking standing corn. We have yet some shock corn to shred. Cold cloudy day.

Dec 24     This morning Dodd brought down a new player piano for $600.00 Nothing but chores done today. Fair cold day.

Dec 25     Christmas Day. The children and I went to St. Mary's church this morning. Home today. Paw & Maw were here for dinner. Fair cold day.
